  • 2015 Harvest

    2015 marked another productive year for growers.  Overall volume is up compared to the state’s five year average.  Fruit has been eating very well and flavor has been excellent.

  • 2014 New Season Update

    For the second year in a row, there will be good fresh apple volume available for market.  Some growers in the state did experience unfortunate weather events but overall quantity will be similar to the 2013 crop.

    The summer climate has led to good sizing and color and a high flavor profile.  The cooler than normal temperatures have pushed harvest dates back a bit, but look for them soon!

  • BelleHarvest Sales hires VP of sales, marketing

    BelleHarvest Sales, Inc. has hired Chris Sandwick, as vice president of sales and marketing.

    Sandwick, whose 20 years of experience includes working for Pepin Heights Orchards Inc., Lake City, Minn., brings brand management expertise and a passion for consumer engagement to the position.

    “Adding Chris to our organization strengthens our ability to continue sales growth while increasing consumer recognition of our brand,” Mike Rothwell, BelleHarvest’s president and general manager, said.

    The 2011 apple crop harvest has come to a successful conclusion.  BelleHarvest will have an ample supply on most varieties of great tasting Michigan apples until mid-summer.  Please call a sales representative to receive an update.

    If there is one word to describe the activities of BelleHarvest employees during the summer of 2011, it would be travel.  From Washington to New York and from Michigan to Florida, BelleHarvest employees have been on the move.

    The main purpose of these trips is always to expand our knowledge bases. Whether we’re reviewing the latest packing technologies, new growing systems, or expanding and updating our quality control procedures, BelleHarvest is pushing forward to produce the finest quality apples.  All of this, in addition to our regular customer visits, has contributed to a very meaningful and busy summer.
